It didn't take long for the good weather. This weekend was beautiful. I took Larry and Logan to the park- Jesse was working at Twin Oaks. Logan had a blast playing with his big brother. He loves the swings and diving down the slides head first. He is very head strong and independant- he insited on walking/running on his own. As a result, he fell down and got his 1st scrapped knee. He only cried for a second and then he took off again.
Friday Jesse took the boys to the Zoo. Logan called every furry animal Tito- which is the name of his babysitter's dog. After that, they attempted to go to a Sammy Hagar book signing but the store was very unorganized and ran out of books. Jesse ended up leaving empty handed. Larry was disappointed he didn't get to meet the Red Rocker. I am disappointed Jesse is corrupting the child's music tastes!
Logan is understanding simple commands now. If you ask him if he ready to go night night he will run full steam into his room and stand next to the crib. If you ask him if he is ready to go bye bye he will run full steam to the nearest door or car. He is such a good kid- except for the temper. He is still having hitting issues. We attempt time outs, but he is a year and a half so I am sure he doesn't get it.
As well, the entire house is now a jungle gym (as seen in the pictures above). He has learned to climb all the way up the loft bed stairs. The ottaman is now a spring board to jump onto the couch. And the couch is mearly a ladder to climb on top of the kitchen table. We have to leave the space saving high chair on the floor now as Logan flipped it off the kitchen island - while he was still in it. I predict many broken bones for this child.
